Noelle has been practicing yoga since 1993, and began her formal education in 2000. She started in the Iyengar lineage which introduced her to the structural and therapeutic aspects of yoga. Noelle has taken trips to India to study with Senior Iyengar teachers. Later, she studied Prenatal yoga, yoga for kids, and Ashtanga with a variety of teachers. Her classes generally follow a flow sequence, pausing to add emphasis on structural form. Meditation and pranayama (breath work) are important aspects of her practice, having seen the psychological and physiological benefits in students with health concerns such as cancer, fibromyalgia, scoliosis and depression.
She has been teaching since 2000 and opened her own studio in 2004. She is certified through Yoga Alliance and is a RYT-500(Registered Yoga Teacher at 500 hours) & E-RYT 200 (Educator-Registered Yoga Teacher at 200hour level).
